Stewards of Change Community-Based Organization (SOC) is a vibrant, membership-driven initiative rooted in the local communities of Nyandarua County, Kenya. Established by visionary youth passionate about environmental conservation and climate action, SOC has expanded its scope to include diverse community members who align with its shared vision for sustainable development.
Registered under the Ministry of Labour, Social Security & Services, SOC is a driving force for grassroots change, addressing poverty, inequality, and environmental challenges through innovative and inclusive programs that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

SOC implements its vision through five key thematic areas
Environmental Conservation
We lead initiatives that promote biodiversity, conservation, and sustainable resource management. Sustainable management of water resources, soils, forests, and ecosystems (SDGs 6, 13, 15).
Climate Action
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting climate resilience through community-led projects.
Quality Education (SDG 4)
Our accredited training college offers courses that equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for and implement sustainable practices
Fighting Poverty
We create programs that empower marginalized communities, providing them with the tools and resources to uplift themselves and break the cycle of poverty.
Partnership for Progress
Collaborating with local organizations, government bodies, and international partners, we work to amplify our impact and drive systemic change.
